- Tell us something about yourself, your background:
I’ve worked in Radio for well over 20 years. Both in commercial community, BBC and Christian radio. I started my career as a producer but then became a presenter. However what’s interesting is that until the age of 16 I had a stammer. In fact I couldn’t even say my own name. So to now be a professional broadcaster is unheard of. In March of this year I launched my own radio station called Konnect Radio. It’s a brand-new national radio station and the only one which plays both Christian and non-Christian music. After just a few months of broadcasting we now are tracks well over 35,000 listeners

- How did you get to where you are? What set you off?
I’ve always had a love for Radio since a very early age. It’s a medium that’s very personal and he’s unlike anything else. However as mentioned previously I was born with a stammer. Therefore the idea of ever becoming a professional broadcaster was very slim. However through lots of prayer and what I believe is gods healing I managed to achieve and get to where I have today.
- Tell us a bit more about your venture:
My biggest venture to date is the fact that I’ve launched a new national radio station. The format we offer has never been done before so it’s exciting but also rather scary. It’s going from strength to strength and it’s our aim to be one of the biggest radio stations in the country by 2025.
